This week we took part in an international competition, held within the European Conference on Games Based Learning. The event was due to take place in Brighton, but like so many other gatherings this year, had to be relocated online due to Covid-19. Whilst we were disappointed not to get the opportunity to see the Pavilion or George IV’s enormous trousers, it was still a great opportunity to hear from other people working in this area.
It was a welcome chance to get a flavour of some of the other new games which are emerging, and to meet their creators, at least virtually. We were also delighted that Brave New World amongst the winners, being awarded Third Place in the non-digital category. Our thanks to the organisers and congratulations to all other winners an participants.
